The purpose of this study is to find out what effects, good and bad, sunitinib (the study drug) has on you and on your cancer. Another purpose of this study is to find out if there are interactions between sunitinib and your anti-HIV medications. Sunitinib is an approved anti-cancer drug which has been shown to be effective in treating patients with kidney cancer and is being studied in treating a wide range of other cancers. Thus, its use in treating other cancers at this time is experimental. We do not know if it will help treat your cancer. There will be between 21 and 42 participants in this study nationwide. There will be about 3 participants at UCLA.
